Last month, Carol Craig, director of finance, and Melissa Mahan, director of pharmacy operations at Guardian Pharmacy of Orlando delivered a big surprise to The Russell Home for Atypical Children in Orlando, Fla.

Employees of Guardian Pharmacy of Orlando with various donations for The Russell Home for Atypical Children.

“We are extremely proud and blessed to work with our Guardian Orlando family. This group of employees truly demonstrates the definition of the word T.E.A.M. – Together Everyone Achieves More,” stated Jill Daly, director of sales and marketing at Guardian Pharmacy of Orlando.

In less than two weeks, 30+ employees donated their time and/or money to purchase more than $1,000  of much needed items for one of our longest standing partner communities, The Russell Home for Atypical Children, a 501(c)(3) organization. COVID-19 has changed the way The Russell Home receives donations due to reduced visitors, which has negatively affected their supply inventory. We encourage you to visit www.russellhome.org and learn more about the organization’s story. The love in this home will make you count your blessings for the simple things in life.

“Thank you to my fellow colleagues for your giving hearts.,” said Daly. “I am super proud to call you family.”
